Trudi Williams Marks 15-Years as a Fair Haven Barista & Community Favorite

We are very excited to announce that local favorite and beloved Booskerdoo Barista Trudi Williams celebrated fifteen years this October of brewing drip coffee and pulling espresso shots at 793 River Road in Fair Haven, New Jersey. The location has seen a few variations of a coffee establishment, but one thing has remained a constant: Trudi. “I can’t believe so much time has passed,” she says. “It feels like I started just yesterday.”

Locals agree, Trudi is a Fair Haven institution. Booskerdoo Fair Haven customers love to see her smiling face, engage in an animated chit chat, and enjoy one of her excellent coffee drinks.

She is not exaggerating when she says with a knowing smile, “I am a fixture of the community and this space.”

Trudi has worked steadily at the Fair Haven location for fifteen years (through four different incarnations). She says working at Booskerdoo since it opened two years ago has become second nature and she truly enjoys her work. She especially loves that her position with Booskerdoo allows her to provide a high-level of customer service that matches her own loyalty to her customers, many who she considers friends.

Trudi says her favorite part of opening the shop at 5:30 am is the relaxed first hour when she can catch up with all of her regular customers. She has known many of them for all fifteen years, including some who she has seen grow up.

Over the past fifteen years, we have estimated that Trudi has pulled more than 600,000 espresso shots. Practice makes perfect. Trudi’s favorite drink to make is a Mocha Latte, “I love to add the chocolate—chocolate makes everything better,” she says.

On behalf of the entire Booskerdoo nation, thank you Trudi for all the delicious drinks and the service with a sparkle and a smile… Here’s to fifteen more years!

Our local newspaper The Monmouth Journal published the story. Thanks guys!
